The Protec Rope Pad is a rope protector for occasional usage. The Protec is attached to a static rope in areas where there is a risk of the rope contacting the rock. The Protec fastens around the rope using a velcro band. It is easy to fix and remove as required thanks to a little clip which attaches directly to the rope.
